A New Direction
Due to security reasons, we have decided to discontinue this blog. If you would like to see how our family grows through pictures, please email or somehow connect with us (via phone, Facebook, etc.) and we would be happy to share our next adventures with you. May we continue to bless our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Sacred Marriage
I've been reading an incredible and extremely helpful book, by Gary Thomas, it's called "Sacred Marriage". And here's a quote from it; I hope it encourages you, if you're married or if you are not:
"Christian marriage is marked by discipline and self-denial...Christianity does not therefore decpreciate marriage, it sanctifies it."
The quote is by Dietrich Bonhoeffer. I will occasionally be posting other quotes and excerpts from this book and other books in the future.

2 month checkup
Evangelyne had her 2 month checkup yesterday- her stats are:
10lb 9oz - 50%
23 in - 75%
16 in head - 90%
She had to have 3 shots (6 immunizations)! Poor girl! She needed lots of TLC after them and was so wiped out that she slept 12 hours! Wow! The last 3 nights she has also successfully slept through the night- varying 7-12 hours! Praise the Lord!!! I am appreciating greatly being able to get more sleep!

God's amazing Grace!
…even though my conscience accuses me of having grievously sinned
against all of God's commandments and of never having kept any of them,
and even though I am inclined toward all evil, nevertheless, without my
deserving it at all, out of sheer grace, God grants and credits to me the
perfect satisfaction, righteousness, and holiness of Christ, as if I had
never sinned nor been a sinner, as if I had been as perfectly obedient as
Christ was obedient for me. All I need to do is to accept the gift of God
with a believing heart.

Another Day...
It's another day and we still love watching the little one! We can't believe how much fun it is to spend so much of our time watching our little girl. We are so amazed and grateful for the Lord to bless our marriage with such a precious girl.
I'm serious; it's better entertainment than watching LOST or 24!

The sweet and salty
What's this look!? Mommy was experimenting with Eva's hair after her bath and caught the fist-perfect timing.
Did you say "No more milk?" (What you talkin' bout Willis?)
Ahh, perfectly content and loved, what a sweet girl! (the 2 pics below, sorry couldn't line it up perfectly)

There is an everlasting kindness
You lavished on us
When the Radiance of heaven Came to rescue the lost;
You called the sheep without a shepherd
To leave their distress
For your streams of forgiveness
And the shade of Your rest.
And with compassion for the hurting,
You reached out Your hand
As the lame ran to meet You
And the dead breathed again;
You saw behind the eyes of sorrow
And shared in our tears,
Heard the sigh of the weary,
Let the children draw near.
CHORUS
What boundless love,
What fathomless grace
You have shown us, O God of compassion!
Each day we live
An offering of praise
As we show to the world Your compassion.
We stood beneath the cross of Calvary
And gazed on Your face
At the thorns of oppression
And the wounds of disgrace,
For surely You have borne our suffering
And carried our grief
As You pardoned the scoffer
And showed grace to the thief.
How beautiful the feet that carry
This gospel of peace
To the fields of injustice
And the valleys of need—
To be a voice of hope and healing,
To answer the cries
Of the hungry and helpless
With the mercy of Christ.

Evangelyne's first trip to PA
It was a full fun weekend as we took our first family trip to PA- to celebrate Easter with the Morris side.
Sat was a baby shower for Evangelyne so many friends and family could meet her- here's the awesome cake my mom and Stef made.
Her Aunt Katie was so excited to meet her and spent lots of time staring at her and holding her! :)
Here's her karate kid pose- taken at 630am before the sunrise service...guess her pose was from being woken up so early?
After the sunrise service (in which Suzi shared her testimony and "Pop" Morris and Stefanie sang "I've just seen Jesus", we joined the all church breakfast. Then after a nap, we had our traditional egg hunt (with dives into bristles and all), followed by a big yummy dinner (thanks mom!!)
Family shot and the 4 generations
With all the family so eager to hold Eva, Tim and I got a few 4-wheeler rides in :) We figured she wasn't quite ready to join us:)
